The Lamar School Athletic Booster Club is a group of parents, staff and other interested parties whose mission is to enrich the athletic experience available to all students of Lamar School. The Booster Club believes that athletic competition is an integral part of the high school experience and serves as an extension of the classroom, teaching important lessons that will prove beneficial throughout the lives of our student-athletes. Our main areas of support are as follows:
Supplementing the athletic budget allows our athletic programs to enjoy excellence in training and performance. Our funds come from membership dues and donations, advertising, merchandise sales, concession sales, parking passes and two major fund-raising events each year.
Our volunteer manpower is critical to the proper functioning of the club throughout the year. Parent involvement is also a strong indicator of the success of each individual student athlete.
School and Community Spirit
Fostering interest in our programs serves to enhance the performance of our teams. We will provide information highlighting the performance of our teams along with the individual achievements of our athletes. We will also communicate other relevant information as it relates to parent and student duties as a participant of the athletic program.
